Hello Bygones

On Sunday I went to a vintage fair with one of my sisters, it's the second one I've been to in our local town and it's run by Daisy's Vintage Kitchen. The first one was in a different venue, a much smaller and intimate affair so when I walked Hello Bygones well let's just say I was blown away.

Above is Bag End Bag a wonderful shop selling vintage accessories.

I walked into a hall full of stalls selling everything and anything and to be honest, if I had the money, I could pretty much have bought the whole place out. I fell in love countless times with must have items but sadly I had to leave them behind.

The beautiful twinkly stall above is a company called OMK

I watched in utter jealousy as lots of beautiful ladies had their hair and make-up done. I could have booked in advance to be pampered like this but as with most things in my life I leave it to the last minute and then miss out.  Next time I am definitely getting it done.  I want to be the girl that people look at and say "I wish I'd booked in to have my hair and make-up done"

The air was permeated with the delicious smell of popcorn and my eyes were particularly drawn to sparkly biscuits!  So pretty.

Letting our ears lead the way, we found ourselves in an outside area with a small stage.  And the smells were amazing, lots of food being served, drinks being drunk and entertainment galore.

On the way out we stopped to look at the vintage vehicles and I particularly fell in love with an old Citroen van, I mean they are just beautiful to look at, but coupled with bottles of fizzy white wine and glasses on the counter.....what's not to love?

And if you wanted to hire out this stunning Vintage Van  complete with it's smiley owners and some refreshments then go to Couple of Mugs

I'm very much looking forward to the next one, I'm even thinking of having a stall myself but that's just a thought at this time.  I just think it would be such a great day, to be a part of it, to get dressed up and spend the day amongst countless vintage fans.

This gorgeous couple run Savoy Deco and you can reach them on 01278 452718

I round this post up with a very very hearty Well Done Clare and Ed, you are an extremely talented couple and I look forward to attending (and maybe even participating) in many more Vintage Fairs.

Looking at the poster again, days after, I wish I had spent all day there.  Next time!!  Just don't leave it too long, I need another vintage fix soon.
