My Mum is Ace

Did I ever tell you my mum is ace?  Well she is, she turned up the other day with some vintage goodies for me.  Whenever she turns up with stuff I get a "squeee" moment before she shows me what she has found.

This is the beautiful Remington typewriter that she turned up with the other day for me.  Isn't it gorgeous?  I need to find an elastic band for it and a new ribbon but it's lovely.   I just need to find somewhere to display it now without my children's little fingers destroying it.........or covering it in chocolaty finger prints!

And, as if this wasn't enough she bought out two more amazing gifts.  How beautiful is this little box?  I adore it so much!

And last but definitely not least this stunning table cloth!  I can't wait to use it this week when I host our weekly knit club!  In fact I promise I will take pictures to post of how beautiful it looks with cake and vintage glass plates on it!

What a lucky lucky girl I am to have such a wonderful mum!  Thank you mummy for keeping me in vintage heaven!
