I managed to pop into the Hello Bygones fair but had to take my 3 year old with me.
For you information.....
Vintage Fairs and 3 year olds don't mix.
I didn't get to spend as long as I wanted there, it's really hard work trying to peruse all the gorgeous vintage items, take photos for your blog, stop a 3 year old wanting to touch everything and entertain said 3 year old at the same time.
I thoroughly enjoyed looking at Eclecticfrocks stall.
Luckily I took one of my sisters, but even with her amazing help it was still hard work. Some of my pics are not up to scratch.....camera in one hand......3 year old in the other spinning and falling to the floor pulling your arm with him.
I'm a total magpie for glittery stuff and the stall from Glitter Girls did not disappoint. Look at all the sparkly goodies.
I totally fell in love with this tea set from Dr. Katie Koo Designs
Look at all these beautiful hand made items from Bentley's Little Room and doesn't she look totally gorgeous.
All that aside, Hello Bygones put on another amazing day. They had a Lindy Hop lesson going on on the stage, stalls, a retro gaming station, hair and make up, photographic sessions and a tattoo parlour. Outside there was a music stage with cool bands playing, a bouncy castle and a bucking bronco. And that's just what I saw in my brief visit.
The stalls were fabulous, an absolute dream to any vintage lover. If I could have I would have bought it all.
I loved all the goodies on this stall from Home Til Monday....and they were super nice people especially to the 3 year old monster attached to my hand.
It was really cool meeting some real life Etsy sellers as well. It was a first for me and they proved that Etsy sellers are just lovely.

I did manage to make a small purr-chase though.
A pair of vintage gold shoes in their original box.
Aren't they totally beautiful and sparkly and devine and gorgeous?
Have you been to any vintage fairs lately?
Chantal x
I don't know if there are any vintage fairs around here other than flea markets, and those aren't all vintage anyway. It looked like a great time, even while wrangling a small child. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Love the tea set!!
ReplyDeleteOh I feel your pain, I've taken my toddler to vintage fairs before - so not conducive to relaxed browsing! Love those sparkly shoes. xx
