The One Where We Gatecrashed an Air Day

....................well for an hour at least!             

I love helicopters, I'm not sure why....I hate flying you see, but I love seeing helicopters.  It's exciting.  So yesterday we rather lately decided to go see if we could watch some of a local air show.

Finding a rather large row of cars parked on the verge we decided to join them and followed to a trail into a rapeseed field to where all the car owners were.

We had missed most of the show however what we saw was amazing.  A simulated war zone...now don't get me wrong, I am not one for fighting however the show was brilliant even from our long distance point of view.

What we did get is lots of waves from the pilots...I guess it was quite funny for them to see a gathering of people waving up at them like loons.

The kids loved it......except for the cold......yes it is summer, I know!
