Bluebells and Crochet

I am extremely lucky to have a few fruit trees albeit very small ones, and even more lucky that this time every year I get the most beautiful display of bluebells.  And along with Forget Me Nots these are one of my favourite flowers.  In fact I love them so much that I had them in my wedding flowers at the end of April last year.

Beautifully modelled by my fantastic daughter.

Unfortunately my 2 year old son likes to pick flowers so I am getting handed bunches on a regular basis.  I'm not totally ungrateful, they do look beautiful on my sideboard but I just think they look more beautiful outside underneath the trees with the bantams rooting through them.

On a side note, I am really messy....like really really messy and tend to just perch things on top of other things.  I do this with the intention of moving them later, really I should learn my lesson and just put them in their home straight away but I never do.  Today my lovely little dog  got a ball of cotton and some crochet unceremoniously dumped on his head.

Thanks pup for looking after my project ;)

He does look kind of cute and it was cotton so lovely and soft!
