If you can remember at the beginning of October I wrote a to do list with 5 things I would like to achieve before the end of the month.
On there was bake a cake I have never made before.
Well, last week was my turn to host our weekly knit club........shhhh don't talk about knit club, 1st and 2nd rule and all that.
I thought this was a good an opportunity as any to try something new. And this is what I made.
Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars from Paula Deen
Below are the yummy apples covered in sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and also the wonderful pastry base.
And this was what was left.
Now, technically I know this is not a cake but I'm going to count it as part of my October to do list......otherwise my waistline will not be happy with me.......although my mouth will.
I have also started my Christmas shopping, and am battling very hard with Wordpress. I can see the potential I just need to up my skills pretty quickly. Wish me luck.
Have you completed any of your goals yet?
