A tout a l'heure part deux

Today I said my second farewell in about just over a week.  My dad has been visiting me from Canada this week before he flies onto Switzerland to see his brother and sisters.  It's kind of left me feeling a bit flat saying bye AGAIN so I thought I would pop in and post some fun photos from today.

This week of almost TOTAL rain  we have been pretty much housebound, we chatted, the kids made a LOT of noise, there's was a distinct flavour of Moshi Monster's about the house, lots of nice food, lots of games of L'AS (A Swiss Card game, I will be posting a how to on this game because I love it and when I do I will come back and update this post to link to it, just don't let me forget!!) my dad the BOOKWORM read a lot, we had a FEW bottles of wine.....so all in all a cosy if noisy week.

To say goodbye we took my dad to a local Italian for lunch.  It's a great little restaurant with GREAT pizza....I'm rather partial to pizza as all my family will tell you but the biggest thing I love about it is that they are so welcoming to the kids.  I was so busy scoffing my pizza I forgot to take photos!!

After a very filling lunch we went for a walk around the park while we waited for dads train.  The kids did a lot of running and jumping and finding hidey holes and generally wearing themselves out.

Hey Mr Buzzy Bee where are you buzzing to?

And then it was time for us to say goodbye until next time. Hopefully next time the weather will be a bit more SHINY for you, have a great journey dad xx
