Oh my goodness, I love our local dump so  much!!! I cannot go there without looking around and I always seem to come back with something.  Above is a selection of my recent finds, including the gold tea trolley.  Guess how much I paid for it, oh alright, I'll tell you.......I paid the princely sum of a whole £1.00 for the trolley.
I think I died and went to vintage heaven when he said how much it was.
I spotted the trolley one day when I went to the dump with my husband.  He is not a vintage lover, more a reluctant vintage owner.  I went straight over to it and pointed it out to him.  He pulled the usual "what do you want that rubbish for" face and so I walked away, looking back at it several times.
The next day I went to the Hello Bygones Vintage Fair, see my write up HERE
The very first stall I came to had a gold tea trolley at the end of her stall, so I casually went up to her and asked how much it was.  She told me that it was not for sale but that they can go for quite a lot.  I said I'd seen one at the dump the day before but didn't buy it.  She looked at me like I was mad and said I should have bought it.
So after a lovely time at the vintage fair my sister and I decided to go to the dump on a shopping trip.  We arrived to a massive queue, it was a Sunday and it was a sunny Sunday.  I felt pretty daft, sat in this massive queue with nothing to dump.  I was also feeling really nervous, I really really wanted the trolley.  After awhile I couldn't stand it any longer so I sent my sister out to go look for it.  Off she trots past all the cars.
15 mins later I manage to park and I spot my sister with her arms full of stuff, and there it was, she had found my trolley, I was a very happy bunny.
I know these don't match but I fell in love with these dessert dishes.
I love the dump ♥

You are lucky to have such a fine sister!
